Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the Service, you must:

• Live in the United Kingdom.
• Either own your home or privately rent it.
• Be receiving certain benefits or have a low household income.
• Meet the Free Boiler Grant Scheme other eligibility requirements.

We have the right to deny the Service if you don’t meet these criteria.

How to Apply

When applying for the Service, you’ll need to provide accurate and honest details about yourself and your property. This may include your:

• Name and address.
• Contact information.
• Financial details.

We’ll use this information to check your eligibility and apply for the grant on your behalf. By submitting your application, you confirm everything you’ve shared is true and correct.

Grant Approval

Approval of your grant application depends on the Reliant Energy Services. We can’t promise that your application will be approved or that you’ll receive the full grant amount. If your application is successful, we’ll notify you of the grant amount and any conditions. You’ll also need to sign a contract with the Reliant Energy Services.

Getting the Work Done

If your grant is approved, we’ll arrange for a qualified contractor to carry out the necessary work. The work will follow the guidelines of the Reliant Energy Services and will meet professional standards. We’ll do our best to ensure the work is completed within a reasonable time, but we can’t guarantee an exact date.

Warranty

The contractor guarantees their work for 12 months from the completion date. If there are any problems during this time, contact the contractor directly for repairs or replacements. RES is not responsible for any issues with the contractor’s work.

Our Responsibility

Reliant Energy Services is not responsible for:

• Losses or damages caused by your use of the Service, unless it’s due to our negligence or misconduct.
• Any issues related to third-party services or products we recommend.

Ending the Service

We can stop providing the Service at any time without prior notice. If you break these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities, we can also terminate your access to the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time without notice. If you keep using the Service after changes are made, it means you accept the updated Terms.

Legal Stuff

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there’s a dispute, it’ll be handled by the courts in England and Wales.
